Blue Lump
« on: July 10, 2008, 08:53:10 PM »
icey has had a blue lump for about a year on her neck, this week it went a pale blue colour, but today it went a darker colour so vet took a sample from it to send for testing, he said there was some blood in the sample also from  lump  so will let me know what  results are when they come back. Anyone here ever heard of a lump like this??

The lump is the same size roughly as a large broad bean.

Vet called me with iceys results of lump, no real result really, could be from a trauma, foreign body or a tumour, he was saying about taking it off & sending it away for more testing as they may get a better chance of a result from testing/ looking art the lump, i am a bit nervous of this as shes old & has a high grade murmer.  ???
