Cold Wet Nose Show
« on: July 12, 2008, 06:59:30 PM »
Yes have got photos - I cant upload them they just wont do it just keeps crashing my pc  :'(

Honey had a great time (Izzie sorry we didnt see you  :-\ ) bought her a little pink wubba - she loves it and got Buster a big blue one he loves his too  ;D

Saw some lovely puppies, beautiful 14 week old Toller - to die for  :-* little chihuahua, baby beardie - gorgeous weimie pup got a photo of him  ;D baby Briard  ;D a bichon cross chihuahua puppy  :D lots of other dogs - affenpinscher rough! some lovely setters,  lots of beardies, couple more adult tollers, german pointer - he was lovely. Saw Kate with Gin the dog - got a pic of her getting her to lift one back leg up - priceless  ;D

Lots of other more unusual breeds to but cant think what now  :D Honey is shattered, bought her a new bed, pink suede type - £10  ;D and a calming body wrap - dont know how good they are?? Anyway got it to try for firework night - Claire you have used one havent you? Lady selling them was off her rocker - but what she said made sense  ;D
Oh and a company were taking photos, took some beautiful ones of Honey - including one of her singing at me  ::) will scan them and post once I can upload - but they may be on their website later on  ;D

Wasnt as much there as thought there would be - and was more 'have a go' than demonstrations - which was good but not much Honey could take part in  :)

Saw the dock dogs - amazing funniest being a collie who literally fell of the end trying to stop once he realised the water was there  :D second time round he flew in   :D Naughty husky owner got her dog incredibly stressed out trying to make it go in - twice she went up there husky not having any of it and very frightened - was embarrassing to watch and was disappointed that the guy stood there watching and keeping control didnt put a stop to it  :'(

Otherwise fab day  ;D Oh baaaaaaaaaaaaadly signposted though!! We went back way just had a sign saying no entrance for dog sho - but no signs showing the right way  ::) And am sure they were there but saw no poo bins - recycling bins??? but nothing i thought was a poo bin - thankfully neither of our dogs went................

I'm sorry.  Obviously, I have no idea what I'm doing.  I guess I'm supposed to start off with the introductions rather than barge into a conversation. lol.  Okay, I'll go over to the intro area.  Thanks for your patience.

I've just written a blog about the show - would welcome feedback from any who went. Agree about the signs Suz - the AA only put them up on Friday after a lot of nagging, they'd been booked months ago - we're going to complain as I got lost, too and I knew where I was meant to go! The green bins and black bags were for poo - but it was a pretty clean show so I think people who did have dogs that went found them okay!

Ahhhhhhhhhh.  Now I understand.  Obviously, I had rushed to post before I read the discussion.  Thought we were having our own cold wet nose photo contest.  lol.

In any case, I just read the terrific blog and then visited the Cold Wet Nose Show and Dog Magazine sites!  Great stuff!  I've bookmarked them all.

I also posted in the Introduction section.  You're all very kind.  And what beautiful dogs!

Thanks!
Martha, Jake, and Tycho

I was a great show, would be great to see more breed rescues there too, ESSW did well with their games.

Suz, did your friend have a buggy per chance?  ???
