Hi All in need of some help
Winnies inside back leg has turned pink...............what should i be doing to help
the only think that has been diff to the norm ...is they have been eating more lamb than normal

is she licking it - as in do you mean the fur is pink or the skin?

licking usually means an ache - like us rubbing a aching joint and the iron oxides in the slobber make the fur go pink - like that picture of fudge puppy where she been well washed by mum

apple cider vinegar helps stop the pinking but you need to see why she licking - has she sprained  the joint - do the hot spot test

You move your hands slowly over your dog to feel a change of heat, hot spots on dogs are usually the sign of a problem on the inside

No hot spot  ??? what can it be
I have cut away all her fur from her bits and bobs cos she does tend to wee on her self  ::) but i did try to grow it long again..wondering if this has had anything to do with it

yep could be gsp also poss urine scalding? why does she wee on herself - ami has huge fluffy trousers as you can see from the pics of the walk lat sunday - she never wee's on herself - does she over clean her bits after a wee?

And no it is the inside of her leg not near her lady bits at all so it  isn't pee thats done it i don't think ,i no clumbers should have trousers they look much better with them but have cut em off
i think she wee's on herself ...........cos she seems to squat very low
and no she doesn't wash her self to often.........
May be it was is a bite but i carn't see anything

It is both the same not one side more than the other.

Val.........but what else should i do if i don't wash them she smells of wee rearlly bad ....also its the urine staining too
I thought i was doing the right thing by keeping her a clean girl........my other bitches don't have this problem and i don't no what else to do about it

Rinse her with just water and make sure she's dry
