Genie a Lurcher cross lost
« on: August 12, 2008, 09:14:29 PM »
Appeal to look out for Genie

Spayed / Microchipped / 3 years old / No collar or tag on

Genie a  Lurcher cross was stolen from a van in Orsett, Thurrock area of Essex. Was then suspected to have escaped or thrown out eight miles away and was sighted running along the A127 near Basildon Southend carriageway towards the junction for the A130 to Chelmsford at 2pm.

No sightings since and the road has been searched. Genie was hand reared from 10 days as someone had already abandoned her so she is a mummy’s baby and would be very nervous if approached but she is trusting if you are kind, she is about 16" at the shoulder has a sandy/light brown coat that is rough down her back and smooth on her head, a white chest and white tips on her paws. On her back left foot one of her toe nails sticks up in the air from a toe injury playing on the beach and she has a long body and short legs. If you find her please call any of these numbers immediately - my heart is broken.  Logged on dog lost website under dog id 14614 to see picture.

Handle every stressful situation like a dog.
If you can't eat it or play with it,
Just pee on it and walk away

When Tam was a pup he disappeared on a walk, only gone two minutes and I felt physically sick with worry. To lose a dog like this :-X :-X :-X

Hi everyone, at 6.30am this morning we had a call about a dog  like Genie near to where she was last seen on Sunday on the A127 we rushed over  and SHE IS HOME. Very thin and a bit bruised from the bash with the car but I  have my baby back. Thank you for everyone who helped poster it was the publicity  that got us the call. If you get chance please help doglost.co.uk as they have
provided so much advice support.
