I am not sure I would use very harsh products on this dog's skin, have you looked into Quistel?

No have no idea what Quistel is but will have a look at it.

tbh claire i don't think it is to do with the food. All of the other dogs are/were doing really really well on it and Tila's skin has been like this before i took her in. Granted it was only around her back legs and private parts but the condition has been there.
thanks for all the advise everyone

http://www.quistel.co.uk/index.php?page=home

The lotion is really superb for hot spots, skin eruptions etc.

Hi,

Quistel is some kind of shampoo stuff - Val reccommends it so I would ask her where to get it from.

Have you thought about getting a skin scrape done ?  would anyone else advise this ?

just a thought Laura ...

Emma may be able to get it from one of her suppliers at a discount for you or near Emma is a lady with a dog called Ava and another younger dog a border collie who is a groomer up there too she might be able to get it at a discount.  I am sure she is or was on RD and hope that is enough info to trace her !  I am hoping they are near(ish) to you aswell.

just a thought ?

It's good but it's not cheap Benzl Benzoate is cheaper and will work on yeast infections she has not got hot spots because of the smell she needs a full bath not a fortune spent on spots

Hi,

chemists Laura

or saddlers / horse shops (it'll be near sweet itch meds)

be worth asking Ava's mommy if she has some Quistel or BB you could "have a bit of" or if they can get it reduced.

BB - is about £10 for 1L
