hi and welcome can i ask why you add salt?

The specialist at the vet school advised that salt be added to Molly's meal to try and increase her sodium level.  Although she is on her tablets and having salt added the level is not coming up to what they would like but it can't be too bad as the vet doesn't want to increase her tablets and just wants to test her blood every 3 months.  She is such a happy little dog.
