Day Board in Birmingham

Hi All,
Does anyone have any ideas as to where I could board my two collies for the day in Birmingham? I have a conference all day at the university on 30th October and am then continuing down south so will need to take dogs with me. They could spend the day in the car, but I would much rather try and find somewhere for them to spend the day, from about 9-5.
I phoned one kennels called but they didn't seem to be fond of collies!  
Any ideas or suggestions would be very welcomed!

Have you tried looking for local petsitting organisations, ones that would have your dogs in their home for the day?
