rubber matting for indoor agility jumps
« on: November 10, 2009, 04:20:00 PM »
hey don't know if anyone can help but i thought i would try this.

i have just bought some agility jumps to use at class but we use a community hall so it has a slide floor and i don't want to use them without some form of rubber matting to put down, as I don't want any of the dogs to get hurt.

its not going to be a full agility thing its just to give the dogs something extra to do in a recall or a fetch etc.

so i was wondering where is the best place to get rubber matting for the jumps, i have found some suppliers of ribbed rubber matting but i don't know if that will hurt the dogs feet when the jump and land.

it would need to be light weight as i will have to role it up at the end of class and take it home with me and store it in my stepdads shed.
can anyone advise me please.
thanks.

Rubber matting is what ringcraft classes use but they are heavy.
I would think if there is a club in your area or even at the same hall they would let you share for a small fee
