Crufts 2010
« on: February 21, 2010, 11:37:23 AM »
Anyone going?

I am for the 1st time Hubby bought me tickets for my birthday, for the Sunday, Taking Ava, she will be 5 1/2 months, just wondering if it is baby friendly? I have small buggy and a sling, so wondering if there would be anywhere to leave buggy? anywhere to change and feed?

Big venue has baby changing toilets etc.  Not sure if they will be up with the equality and diversity so wouldnt depend on a nursing room.  There is a cloakroom where you can leave coats etc so sure there would be somewhere to leave buggy.    Phone them and ask  ;) if you cant find sufficient stuff on website

Ah cheers
looks ok, only one breast feeding area - within the baby changing ::) (would you eat you dinner in the loo!) but not fussed, will sit in the middle of somewhere/anywhere to feed, take there will be food and coffee areas?, and can put luggage in too so if want to stow buggy away, thats good!

the food is very expensive there, it better to bring your own.

its something like £4 for a hotdog that tastes rancid.

If you want to bring lunch and leave it at my bench you are more than welcome to,I will be around most of the time and a few friends will keep an eye on it for you

I am sorry to say I will be missing this year.  2 dogs booked in for the Thursday, then work put me on a course I can not miss  >:(

Good luck to those who have entered a dog, numbers are up on last year.

Those going for a look around, have a good day.

Agree with the food advice, take your own.  I would also say it can get very busy at the weekend, so after walking around, a fold out chair is also a good idea.  I know we have a trolley to put all this stuff on, but it does make the day much better.
