boxer dogs

my boxer lizzie recently died aged 15 years and 3months my wife and i wonder how old is the oldest boxer any of you guys have known will be happy with any reply.we have done most of our greiving and will shortly find a new puppy to care for thanks for reading this

I don't have any answer to your question I'm afraid as I have never known any boxers.

But I just wanted to say I am so sorry for your loss. I can still get upset over my 2 dogs I lost 18 and 9 years ago.  They were both 16 when they died - a springer and springer cross.

Hi, sorry for late replay missed this,
Sorry for your loss, but she sounds as if she had a full long and happy life.
I knew a very old boxer, full of lumps and bumps, had cateracts but still went on a forrest walk, not far, and he plodded along at his own pace. I dont know how old he was exactly maybe around 14 / 15 as I recall chatting to the owner about what an impressive age it was, I think at a guess 12 would be a good ave age for a boxer.
