Barking, How do I stop them?

I wouldn't go for teaching 'bark' either since the dogs are already well-practised at barking and it is one of their preferred behaviours...I'd just teach 'quiet'.

Worked for me but then I am not a dog trainer, may be well practised at barking but only when they want to do it - sometimes handy to get them to bark when you want them to.

No they are just brighter that the owner and more than up to taking on trainers.

I use a Bark Collar  on my dog.

If I remember correctly bev taught me that bark and shoosh is a switch and you must teach them both for it to work.  If you know how to use a clicker then you can teach your dog to bark on command and then after that wait till the dog stops barking and click then after a few times say 'shoosh' and when he stops click and say 'good shoosh'.

kinda something like that.
