poor Honeys tail
« on: November 12, 2010, 08:18:52 PM »
:( shes had a wart on the end of it for about a year now..........but its suddenly doubled in size and looks nasty and sore..we saw the vet today ( she tried to bite him thats how sore it is!!) and hes said its got to come off....which is fine but he will have to remove about an inch and a half of the end of her tail as well  :'( she goes in tuesday so fingers crossed, her hearts all healthy and her last lot of bloods were good so no reason it wont go fine - am dreading it after......last time she had a cyst removed off her tail she refused to walk for nearly 3 weeks.......  :-*

Arrg... poor Honey  :-* ... Been there (through OP), done that (more than once befor)... still is nervwrecking  ::) . Try not to worry, it will be ok. And ofcourse she wants to milk it after big time. She's a diva after all  ;) .

Good news all round - a different vet operated on her to the one who i saw last friday - he didnt have to remove any of her tail - and i get the feeling that if the other vet hadnt been so worried Honey was going to bite him he could of told me that on friday so all that worrying for nothing - lovely vet who operated on he he hardly shaved anything off her tail  :-* and it looks super neat AND hes quite happy is no need to send it off  ;D
