I just thought seen as i havent posted on here and there may be new members etc etc a quick introduction

I have an exam later today and basically im uhmmmmmmm whats the word avoiding looking at it

My name is Helen but more commonly known as Wags or Waggi - ive just about finished my degree in animal behaviour and welfare and its a bit rubbish but hey hoe it filled a gap

I have 5 dogs - 4 of which are border collies and the other is a cross breed

Cleo is 12 shes a rescue and keeps every one in check - she trains my dogs for me


Meg is my cross shes about 7/8 i think - shes also a rescue and had a bit of a bad time of it really - im sure if you did a search on the board you could find her story


Glen is 7 - a bit of a big woose but a lovely boy all the same


Oban is 4 - total and utter sod bag - but my sod bag


Lunar is about 20 weeks now and shes the most laid back border collie ever - just doesnt see the pont to anything - she currently looks like a dingo as her ears are fully pricked and shes going through that leg stage (which oban never saw the point of )


Then theres Joe who is 7 and hes a human of some sort

i suppose i should say that ive been a member of this board for years now - been guilty of not posting very often in recent ones though esp as im such a facebook addict

Hi Wags,

Nice to meet you. I'm Vicky and a newbie here since you were on last, although I'm very guilty of not posting much either. I just don't seem to find the time to do anything these days but I always try and at least lurk once a week.

My "little" bundle of fluff is Heidi, an 8 month Newfoundland.

on another subject and depending o your answer i may start a new subject but - Oban had overshot top jaw yes? and he is short legged?? I ask and maybe val/others will chip in BUT friends chihuahua has overshot top jaw and has short legs - he not growing same as the others ( hes popeyes litter brother) Though noel fitzpatrick said hes totally in proportion for the rest of him - but he has short legs compared to the others haha! just wondering if its common......?

Livs litter sis is the same, in proportion but shorter and smaller than livs

uhhmmm - does she have a funny jaw? i dont just mean smaller dogs though - its odd cos noel fitzpatrick has checked out his measurements as was a concern he had hydrachaephulus ( sorry for spelling haha) but his measurements apparently are fine - but to look at him considering the others are all fine he doesnt look right to me - same as oban really....sorry no offence wags  have since heard can be a thing in chis that does crop up - and the hydra can then be part of it ( thankfully not in this case) and am just wondering......

Yep, she has a slight under/over shot jaw (cant remember which)

Obans has a massive overshot jaw - its about an inch and a half - and when he was about 5 month old his legs gave up growing which is really wierd as he has stacks of bone and huge dinnerplate paws but these tiny little legs

its really only his legs that are small - the rest of his body is how it should be - people think hes puppy quite often because hes so little but he isnt you only have to look at the coat to see that - its massive but its amazing it hardly knots and doesnt get that dirty its lovelly
