Ok, going to be really good here - please do not take this the wrong way, but do you not think you should give Patches a bit of time to settle in, he has only been with you for what a week or 2? before getting a second dog.

Hello,

I know what you mean but Iam pretty confident that Patch has settled.  He is an amazing dog, he is calm and happy and loving with everyone he meets, I am going to book him in for training classes as the only problem I have with him is that he pulls like a steam train on the lead!!

I wont be bringing home Peppa the pup until the 5th September which will give him a little bit longer but I am still sure he will be fine with her.  You really wouldnt think he'd only been here a couple of weeks.  I have thought about this long and hard and what ever happens both dogs will be loved and taken care of and if I have a bit of extra work to do with them both then so be it I think it will be worth it in the end!!

I can assure you that he probably hasnt completely settled in yet I have yet to see a dog settle into a new home within a week. But then its up to you

I dont doubt he hasnt completely settled in and I appreciate wot ur saying but I have made a commitment to the other puppy and I will not break that.  And like I sed I am more than happy to sort out any problems as and wen they arise. Both dogs will be loved to death well looked after and will be members of my family.  I dont expect them to be perfect and I dont expect to not have any teething problems but I am willing to take the rough with the smooth.

I am going to also get both Patch and Peppa (the pup) into training/socialisation classes.  So I can honestly say that altho I understand where youre coming from and yes you are right it IS up to me, I havent made the decision lightly and I know that when I do find myself having problems with either of them I can come here and ask for help and advice with out being judged or made to feel bad!!
