Val - am about a third of the way through the Dogs Diet and disease book - glad you recommended it  - very good and makes lots of sense (well most of it - some of it is slightly beyond me  ) but the diet section is very interesting working my way through it!

Just some of the more technical medical type stuff gets me - trouble is I always read it before bed and then forget what I was struggling with - will write it down in future and ask  But its really good, if a little horrifying to think that bad diets can play such a big part in those diseases

VAL - what book would be a good one to start off homoeopatic treatment, bearing in mind all th know about the subject is it is a 'watered' down version of the thing causing the 'aliment'

Sorry Gracie board elf must have hidden this one the two book that are easier to understand IMO are

GM book is a little more technical but you will understand it and as long as the board elf doesn't nick the post just ask or as Bev says bump it again 
I will try and write an explanation on the working of homeopathy tomorrow if I don't, bump the post got loads of dogs in tomorrow and the old grey matter moved out of gear very quick these days
