My Black and White, rather tall, prick eared Border Collie, rest his soul, was once taken for a black and white German Shepherd!  ;D  Made his day that did, lol!

 :butt:
Hi.
I saw a stunning dog this afternoon.
I asked it's breed & thought the owner said it was a "Braccia"
Can't find it on any website .
I'll describe it >
Looked like a beagle but longer in the legs with big pads.
Colour was ivory with light brown sploges on it.
It had droopy ears & a lot of excess skin around its neck (similiar to a bloodhound)
It's tail was docked but if it had been left, would have looked like an English pointers tail.
Can anyone enlighten as to what it may be? ??? ::).

i just had a look on google and i searches braccia didnt find anything so then i searched bracia i found a dog that looked a bit like the one you saw.
 :ok:

In my Akita's 3 1/2 years of life so far, she has been many different types of dog including:

Husky
Chow Chow
Wolf
Snow dog
Malamute
Cross bred of some sort
And very occasionally she is an Akita!!  Was very pleased when a girl of about 8 yrs told her nan exactly what Loki was...could have run up and hugged her lol!

Oh and the best one is our Rottie pup Dolfi, we keep getting people coming up to us on walks and saying 'oh she's got abit of Rott in her' (she is actually a very well bred Rottie bitch with a tail!!)  She once got called a Lancashire Heeler lol!
