Nature's Harvest
« on: March 13, 2007, 05:22:14 PM »
I bought two packs of this for Ģ1, from the Feelwells stand at Crufts, anyone heard of/used it?  The lady said it was much like naturediet, ingredients are Lamb (also do a chicken one), brown rice, carrots, herbs, salmon oil, seaweed and vitamins and minerals.  What do you think?   :)

I read somewhere not to give salmon or tuna ???

I use mackeral and sardines, sometimes herring if I buy it fresh from the fishmongers (thats if hubby has a bad day of fishing :-[)

I see what you mean, farmed salmon is bad but wild salmon is good.  So if feeding salmon or slamon supplements it is better to use a product from an unfarmed source.

So what is the difference between, natures harvest, natures diet and natures menu ? ? ? ???

Which one is the best one to use, I'm confused :-\

Right

Natures Harvest
- new company
- Fox bought some at crufts
- looks slightly like sick
- meant to be all good stuff

Nature Diet
- hard to get hold off sometimes because they uhhhhh mince the wrong things
- comes in a take away tray type thing
- the orange one smells absolutlly discusting
- also meant to be full of good stuff

Natures Menu
- comes in a packet type thing - pouch - thats the one
- again meant to be full of good stuff

Forthglade
- see above

all very similar
all very similar names

just diffrent

ive never used them but i think i might be this show season as sometimes i struggle taking BARF on the road

It did look like sick but smelt a lot better than naturediet, very meaty but did remind me of canned meat.

I prefer naturediet although it does stink of tripe!  Its not as wet as the others, and Izzy goes wild for it!  :)
