loki belted for the door when the ear wash came out - think he is going to have the fur trimmed under the pads before long too - he enjoyed the willy check though  :D

I bet he did - it is his least favourite thing  ;D - I do him on a table (as Val suggested) and it is the only place he stands neatly while I put ear wash in...  He will at least tolerate it when up there - but if he sees me going to get it, he scarpers and he is far too wrigly on the floor  ::)  ;D

Oh didn't know I had to trim his fur between his pads...   :-[  is that to minimise chance of things getting stuck there? 

He doesn't mind balls or willy checks  :-X

he stood - 'NONSENSE' - works very well  :D

some labs have very furry paws - - worse for them in winter as they get ice balls trapped in them and it splays the pads
