yes Suz, first owner promised breeder he would take him to puppy classes, socialise him, never leave him on his own, etc – his parents back him up

11 months later breeder gets an email from the parents….owner has given them the dog, he been leaving him for long hours, didnt take to classes, didnt do any socialising with him. he was neutured at 10 months because he was humping the other dogs, fed on crap, resource gaurding, no recall, pulled on lead, etc

I went with breeder to pick him up and he came to stay with me for a few days, he counter surfed within minutes of being here, a full loaf of bread, managed to swop for high value treats, he was very thin and looked like a female clumber- ther3e are some pics somewhere as I had to put Livs in a bandana as we couldnt tell the difference between them.

he was here for a few days, then went to Bev for rehab…and never left

yep suz…i know i go on about him  😉 but he is loved…there are days when i dont like him though…but mo adores him…he that confused classic…when he good he very good…and he actually on those days makes me laugh…he has some real odd behaviours for a clumber but when he horrid her really horried…what does my head in is the constant change…the inconsistency…he a 5 steps forward 3 steps back dog..has taken all this time to just actually understand his confusion…many folks would say he pure pig headed…for example the going outside for a wee…he will go through a phase of not asking…it like having a perm pup…out after nap after food after play…but he asks to go for a poo…then we will go for weeks and he asks to out everytime and we think ah…light bulb on…then we back to square one…
he has no fear of bangs or odd noises…will hurl himself of banks and into hedges…but wont come down the stairs…but wont let us help either…tooks months to get his trust to just fuss him without him asking first…and still can’t groom him…and he has next to no bite inhibition…but he loves other dogs and people including kids…he complex…he here…where else would he be  🙂
