The Fritz drinking thing is now causing some concern  :-\
after he had that bout of not eating and was given a dose of metacam he has been drinking like a fish
so we are going to take him in for a kidney function test (and get him titre tested at same time)… should we ask for anything else? Diabetes? what else causes excessive drinking? Want to go in armed and ready  🙂

Diet hasn’t changed, gets plenty of water / fluids thru that…. is eating normally (altho had a sick today after a trotter today, but is well in himself apart from the drinking  :-\

The breed does have a predisposition for kidney problems as it’s still going on I would get it checked out.
It would not hurt to get him checked for Diabetes Mellitus as they have a predisposition for that too

Good Luck hope it’s just Fritz who has spent his life not drinking water to now over drinking the stuff
