it is with an enormous feeling of sadness that i write this and as there is a genuine reason for rehoming i do not want any discussions about it on the board so i am locking the thread.

if anyone is seriously interested then please pm me but genuine enquiries only please

    Loving home wanted for:
Daisy – a 4 year old spayed piebald Boerboel

Daisy is a very loving family pet dog, she is loyal, affectionate and a ball of fun and mischief with those she knows and trusts.

Although Daisy has been around children since she was 8 weeks old and has been well socialised we feel she would be better homed with older children due to her natural instinct to protect small children.  She can be trusted with livestock and has grown up with ducks, hens, pigs and a cat and she never troubles them.

Daisy is a very warm companion and has an excellent sense about people, their personalities and their fragilities. Her ‘Nan’ is 88 and she is always very careful around her when she visits and sits on her knee or cuddles up along side her.

Daisy’s training commenced on the very first day she arrived home at 8 weeks with a professional trainer/behaviourist who will be available to assist any new owner in the future. She is highly cued to whistle, visual and verbal cues, is well behaved on the lead and even better behaved off the lead. She is not keen on small dogs she does not know as she has been attacked by 2 different Jack Russell’s in the past and therefore thinks little dogs will be aggressive.

Daisy is very protective of the family home but will still let people she knows she can trust in the house even if the owners are not there; such as neighbours, dog trainer, baby sitter and family. She is protective of anyone she feels is part her pack.

Daisy is fed a natural diet, doesn’t beg at table or steals food. Loves interactive games with humans and friendly romps with dogs she feels are no threat but her favourite thing is to be let off in an open meadow where she runs for joy doing enormous figure of eights; she can tuen on a sixpence.

Daisy has been a delight and joy for 4 years but sadly her owners cannot keep her any longer due to personal circumstances and the are desperate to find her a new home where she can be loved much as they have loved her.
