I love this bit……They said they’d see if there is a single vacc ………..of course there is a single vaccine IMO leave him next week it could be hgiher and if it’s showing then it’s OK it will rise to the occasion if challenged.
The drugs for heartworm  are not very nice daily doses of Panacur is one of the treatments if you don’t want Dirofilaria immitis which is spread from dog to dog by mosquito bites keep spraying my spray mosquitos dislike it, that said not all mosquitos carry it anyway the same as not all rats carry Lepro.
As this is Fritz  ::) I would suspect he drank even less water in the vets than he does at home so don’t worry about PH 5.5

Ok, spoke to the vet today…
Parvo is fine Adenovirus (?) is fine
They said distemper might be too low to be protective.. they want to booster  ???
They said they’d see if there is a single vacc for that rather than having to have some kind of combination, but I suspect they will want to give him a combo job  :-\

They also wanted us to start treating him monthly for lungworm  ??? as there is an increase of it in london Can’t remember the name of the medication Anc something?

His PH is 5.5 which they say is slightly high…. no cultures or crystals

What do you reckon to that lot?  :-\

hun i been reading all about titre tests – apparently a dog can still be covered even if the tests says they are not – so i would say a ‘low’ result is just fine  😉

glad all is ok? sounds pretty good?  :-*
