ok…update…and BREATHE….
November 11, 2008 at 7:31 pm #84966IzzieMemberResults:
Trixie’s joint fluid on that elbow is infected- instead of being clear it was straw yellow. Has been sent to pathology. There are no breaks but there is arthritus – Osteo degenerative Arthropy (?)
Blood work showed a high amount of Calcium- which is worrying as she hasnt had any suppliments and thw CHOL is high.
She is going back on Monday for the results of the fluid tap.
Jesta: My likkle girlie – It could be one of 3 things:
1. Arthritus
2. Bone infection
3. Bone Cancer
the toe bone is badly degenerated. Her bloodworks showed that her LIPA was high and her ALKP is low.
She is to be xrayed in a months time and I have to make a desicion whether to amputate or notNovember 11, 2008 at 7:35 pm #84967kerrie and stanMemberpoor girls, hugs izzie :-*

Hope your girls are going to be ok. If Jess does need toe amputated she should be fine, we’ve done a whole lot of those and the dogs return to being completely normal afterwards.November 12, 2008 at 9:52 am #84976kizkiznobiteMemberhugs to you and the mad spanners :-*
